QS100Bstylish01C

The QS100 was designed (and priced) accordingly and with the goal of setting a new benchmark for UST projection. The QS100 achieves 500 lumens of increased brightness over the LS800 while retaining high image quality. According to Epson, this is due to a new 5-in-1 laser light source module combined with the brand’s 3-chip 3LCD laser-array technology that can project images of up to 160 inches from just inches away from the screen at 4,500 lumens of white brightness (ISO rated).

Sharp NEC Display Solutions

The QS100 is powered by Epson’s QZX Picture Processor, a 32-bit proprietary engine that enhances contrast, brightness, and color accuracy. Additionally, its advanced dynamic tone mapping feature further refines HDR performance.

The QS100 4K PRO-UHD uses advanced pixel-shifting technology to control three individual high-definition LCD chips. Full 10-bit HDR color processing supports HDR, HDR10, and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) content for improved color accuracy and enhanced contrast. Dynamic tone mapping automatically adjusts to the optimal HDR level frame-by-frame. Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and very low input lag is available for competitive gamers and true multi-array laser diodes produce a light source that delivers better color accuracy and is virtually maintenance-free for up to 20,000 hours.

In answer to requests for true IP control, integrators can add a QS100 into an intelligent and integrated home entertainment experience by configuring Crestron, Control4, or any PJLink-compatible control system, allowing operation via remote control, touchpad, or even voice control systems.

To simplify setup, the QS100 features individually adjustable feet, multi-point picture settings, and an optional wall mount bracket (the ELPMB75). It is also compatible with UST projector integrated cabinets from Salamander Designs. In addition to a supplied remote control, the projector’s side panel include buttons for power, source, menu, home, ESC, D-PAD, and volume, two HDMI ports (1 eARC/ARC), an Ethernet port, an RS-232C port, a focus slider, and ports for USB-A 5V 900mA, USB-A 5V 2.0A, and USB-B (service). Setup and calibration can be done via web control, as well.

Designed to blend well into different types of décor, the QS100 offers a premium modern design with a matte finish in black or white color options, reducing reflection glares that may distort picture quality.

The new projector comes with Epson’s warranty and support, including a standard three-year limited warranty with two-business-day full unit replacement, including free shipping and free lifetime technical phone support.
