The Epson Pro L1755UNL is a powerful 15,000-lumen laser projector made for large venues. It uses 4K pixel shifting technology with WUXGA resolution and can handle full 4K content.
Epson’s L-Series includes eight different commercial laser projectors. Their brightness ranges from 6,000 lumens on the smaller Pro L1100U up to a blazing 30,000 lumens on the new Pro L30000U. Prices start around $2,000 for the less expensive models (without interchangeable lenses).
Some L-Series projectors come with or without a standard lens, and many models—including the L1755U—are available in both black and white. I reviewed the black L1755UNL, and the white version is called the L1750UNL.

EPSON PRO L1755UNL Overview

With up to 15,000 lumens and the long-lasting reliability of a laser light engine, the Epson Pro L1755U is a great choice for large venues. But it’s not just about brightness — this projector is very flexible and adjustable, making it perfect for many different uses.
Like all Epson 3LCD projectors, it delivers as many color lumens as white lumens, giving you bright, vivid images ideal for concerts, stage shows, and houses of worship.
The L1755UNL has a native WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) and can accept 4K content. It uses Epson’s PRO-UHD chip to pixel shift and enhance the 4K image for sharp, clear pictures.

The Epson Pro L1755UNL doesn’t come with a lens, but it works with eight different 4K-ready lenses, offering vertical lens shift from 15% up to 65%. Keep in mind, some lenses might limit the projector’s maximum brightness. For this review, we used the ELPLM15 lens—a mid-throw zoom (1.57 to 2.5) that lets the projector reach its full brightness.
It has wired LAN and HDBaseT for sending audio, video, and control signals over long distances (up to 100 meters). You’ll find a DVI-D connector, an HDMI 2.2 port for 4K content, several audio inputs, and an RS-232c port for traditional control. There are also BNC connectors, a service port, and a wired remote input.
The projector works with Epson’s free Projector Professional Tool software, making it easy to set up and control multiple projectors at once over a network—no need for remotes. It supports Edge Blending, so you can join two projectors side-by-side or stacked to create a bigger, sharper image with smooth, seamless edges. This setup is much faster using the software on a single PC.
Over time, even laser projectors can show color shifts. The L1755UNL has an Auto Color Adjustment feature with a built-in camera that keeps colors accurate by adjusting for any changes. This is especially helpful when using multiple projectors, as it detects and fixes color differences between them automatically or on a schedule.
If you’re projecting onto curved, corner, or uneven surfaces, this model offers projection mapping to quickly correct image distortion for a perfect picture every time.
