Epson’s new QS100 projector is a response to feedback from custom installers who wanted better features, easier setup, and improved reliability compared to the earlier LS800 model. Launching April 1 for $4,999, the QS100 fixes common complaints like limited calibration controls, slow Android boot-up, HDMI control bugs, and lack of IP integration.
Brighter & Smarter
The QS100 boosts brightness to 4,500 lumens—500 more than the LS800—while maintaining sharp image quality, thanks to a new 5-in-1 laser light module and Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD technology. It can project images up to 160 inches from just inches away.
Enhanced Picture Processing
Powered by Epson’s QZX 32-bit processor, the projector enhances contrast, brightness, and color accuracy. It supports full 10-bit HDR (HDR10 and HLG) with dynamic tone mapping for better color and contrast, adjusting frame-by-frame. It also includes Auto Low Latency Mode and low input lag—great for gaming.
Designed for Integration
The QS100 supports IP control and works with Crestron, Control4, and PJLink systems, offering flexible integration options. You can control it via remote, touchpad, or even voice assistants.
Easy Setup & Connectivity
It comes with adjustable feet, multi-point picture settings, and optional wall mount support. Ports include:
2 HDMI (1 with eARC)
Ethernet
RS-232C
USB-A (5V 900mA & 2.0A)
USB-B (for service)
Setup and calibration can also be handled through a web interface.
Sleek Design & Support
The QS100 features a modern, matte black or white finish that reduces glare and blends easily into any space. It’s also compatible with Salamander Designs UST cabinets.
Epson backs it with a 3-year limited warranty, free two-day replacement shipping, and lifetime tech support.
