Powerful Features and Performance

As a top TV maker, LG knows that some people want an even bigger, more immersive screen than what a regular OLED or LCD TV can offer. That’s where the BU53PST comes in. It’s part of LG’s ProBeam projector lineup, built to bring high-quality projection to more professionals in business and education settings.

Reliable 4K Performance with DLP Technology
The LG ProBeam BU53PST uses Texas Instruments’ 0.47″ DLP chip with XPR technology to deliver sharp 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution.
Its sealed light engine keeps dust out of the laser light path, ensuring a consistently clear image over time.
The laser-phosphor light source produces up to 5,000 ANSI lumens, making it bright enough for use in well-lit environments like offices, hospitals, museums, and classrooms. The laser diode is rated for up to 20,000 hours, which means you could use it 8 hours a day for 7 years with little to no maintenance.

High-Quality Laser Light Source with Smart Setup Features
The LG ProBeam BU53PST combines laser phosphor technology and DLP imaging for great performance and long-lasting reliability. Since it doesn’t use a traditional lamp, there’s no need for frequent maintenance or lamp changes—perfect for hard-to-reach places like museums or auditorium ceilings.
As a short-throw projector, it can sit closer to the screen. It features a 1.2x manual zoom and horizontal/vertical lens shift, which are rare at this size and price. The 12-point warping tool helps fine-tune the image and correct distortion for precise screen alignment.
While it doesn’t include all the smart features of LG’s CineBeam lineup, the BU53PST comes packed with tools to boost connectivity and productivity:
7 video presets and 6 audio presets for different environments
Built-in speakers plus HDMI ARC support for simple soundbar connections
Bluetooth audio lets you connect wireless speakers, headphones, or stream audio from your phone

Flexible Wireless Networking and Smart Features
The LG ProBeam BU53PST supports advanced wireless networking and easy control. It works with popular control systems like Crestron, Control4, and Savant, and also supports RS232C. With HDBaseT, a single CAT6 cable can send 4K video signals hundreds of feet to the projector.
This model supports HDR10 content and features Dynamic HDR Tone Mapping, which automatically adjusts the picture for the best HDR performance based on what’s on screen—a technology borrowed from LG’s CineBeam projectors.
Thanks to its bright 5,000-lumen laser light source, low maintenance, and great image quality, the BU53PST is a strong alternative to large flat-screen TVs for professional spaces. LG says it fits just as well in a living room as it does in a meeting room.
